You'll soon discover that not all the linguistics faculty have offices in Margaret Jacks. Some are in the basement of the Psych Building (Bldg. 420), and Tom Wasow hangs out with Symbolic Systems. But the rest hang out at CSLI (Center for the Study of Language and Information), a multidisciplinary research group situated in two buildings (Cordura and Ventura) found at the far north end of campus (west of the medical center).
