You can get some (quite a bit) of the money you pay in ASSU fees back by filling in (on a campus computer) a fee refund form saying that you don't wish to support certain groups. But remember, also, that many of the supported groups can really use the dollars, and that if you get a refund from the ASSU Legal Service, then you can no longer get their free legal advice. After first year, you can only get fee refunds if you voted in the previous year's ASSU elections.
