Computing Information for Stanford Linguists

This guide is designed mainly to help incoming Linguistics students find their way around the local computing environment, and get started using e-mail, emacs, and UNIX. But it also contains information about more advanced topics, pointers to further sources of information, and local information that might be useful to others around CSLI as well.
